I Teach Italian With Passion
I was born and currently reside in Bologna, Italy, and I have a strong passion for teaching Italian to international students.
I have a background in language education, specifically in teaching Italian to non-native speakers. I've attended various training and certification programs in Italy, including sessions on teaching Italian as a second language and cultural topics.
My education includes a master's degree in "Language, Society, and Communication" with a focus on German and French, as well as previous degrees in linguistics and economics from the University of Bologna.
Since 2004, I have been dedicated to specializing in teaching Italian to international students. In 2017, I achieved certification from CEDILS (Ca' Foscari University of Venice) to teach Italian to learners from around the world.

I have an unwavering passion for learning foreign languages and indulging in the vibrant world of theatre, cinema, and museums. Reading, painting, dancing, cooking, and strolling amidst the beauty of nature are also cherished pursuits in my life.
And, of course, I can't imagine existence without the enchantment of music, the wonders of literature, the artistry of photography, and, perhaps somewhat surprisingly, the simple delight of... popcorn! Finally, but certainly not least, I hold a deep affection for my hometown, Bologna.
Nestled in the northeastern part of Italy, Bologna boasts predominantly medieval architecture. Throughout history, the city has witnessed the convergence of diverse cultures, including Etruscans and Romans, leaving their marks, particularly within the city center.
Bologna is renowned for its delectable offerings of traditional cuisine, such as tortellini, lasagne, and rich meat ragu. The city takes pride in its prestigious ancient university, its distinctive red rooftops, and its warm and hospitable culture...

It attests to an instructor's competence to teach Italian as a foreign or second language. The CEDILS certification is issued by educational institutions in Italy, and it is designed to assess the pedagogical and linguistic skills of teachers who wish to instruct international learners in Italian.
It covers various aspects of Italian language teaching, including methodology, preparation of teaching materials, adapting to learners' needs, and knowledge of the Italian language.
Teachers who obtain the CEDILS certification thus demonstrate their expertise in teaching Italian as a foreign language, which can be a valuable asset for those seeking high-quality Italian language courses for international students.
